Filters / Blocks
In the Adviser.ai system, several pre-set checks are implemented to prevent further communications under specific conditions. These safeguards are designed to respect customer preferences, avoid redundancy, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Here are the key conditions under which campaigns and messages are blocked:
- Opted-out Customers
- Description: Campaigns will not be sent to customers who have opted out of receiving communications.
- Note: This filter cannot be overridden by any parameters, including <&allowduplicate=1>. It is a strict rule that ensures compliance with customer preferences and privacy laws.
- Existing Campaigns or Messages
- Description: Customers will not receive new campaigns if they are currently in progress or if a message has been sent within the last 24 hours.
- Purpose: This check prevents overwhelming customers with multiple messages and ensures a more organized communication strategy.
- Previous Fact Finder Completion
- Description: Customers who have completed a fact finder for a specific product will not be asked to complete another one for the same product, unless explicitly allowed.
- Override Option: The restriction can be overridden by using the parameter <&allowduplicate=1>. This allows sending a new fact finder even if one has been completed previously. However, this override requires consultation with the project owner at the client organization and should be used cautiously.
Importance of Filters and Blocks
These filters and blocks are crucial for:
- Maintaining Compliance: Ensuring that communications adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, such as respecting opt-out requests.
- Positive Customer Experience: Avoiding excessive or repetitive communications that could lead to customer annoyance or fatigue.
- Data Integrity: Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and respecting their previous responses, such as completed fact finders.
Implementation Guidelines
- Respect Customer Preferences: Always honor opt-out requests and other customer preferences, as failure to do so can lead to legal repercussions and damage to customer trust.
- Clear Communication: If an override like <&allowduplicate=1> is used, ensure clear communication and proper authorisation from the project owner.
- Monitoring and Auditing: Regularly monitor and audit communications to ensure that these pre-set checks are functioning correctly and that any overrides are properly documented and justified.
By adhering to these guidelines and respecting the filters and blocks, your system can effectively manage communications while maintaining a respectful and compliant approach to customer interactions.
